RAFT II
Dear Geneva Forum Plenary Sesssion Speakers,
As we are all concerned with 'access', it is our wish to render the forum as accessible as possible to those that were unable to attend, especially those in developing countries. It is with respect to this issue that we would like to briefly inform you of one potential initiative we would like to undertake via the RAFT (http://raft.hcuge.ch/).
The RAFT network, focussing on tele-learning and tele-medicine, is geared towards creating a South-South network of university hospitals, regional hospitals, and rural health centres in francophone Africa. We would like to place an audio recorded version of your presentation with a simultaneous pdf version of your powerpoint presentation, on the website of the RAFT. To be more specific: we will NOT place a powerpoint version of your presentation on the web, but rather a pdf version as you presented it along with your voice as you presented it.
In other words, the powerpoint document will not be downloadable as such, only available for lecture only. As the RAFT network is for French-speaking countries, the French translation will be used rather than the English. However, if you agree, we hope to have a budget earmarked to do the same in English on the website of the Forum. For these two possibilities, we would like to ask your permission.
Should you agree please inform us immediately by email. We also must request, for administrative reasons, that you print out this email and sign for agreement, sending us one original by regular mail.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Slim Slama
Coordinator of the programme of the Geneva Health Forum

What is RSS?
RSS is an easy way for you to keep updated automatically on websites you like. Instead of you having to go to websites to see if they've written a new article or feature, you can use RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) to get them to tell you every time they have something new.
How can I make use of RSS?
In general you need to get hold of a program called a News Reader. This displays RSS information feeds from your chosen websites on your computer. Search for one that suits you here: Google

This is a Conference Reports site. Volunteer reporters are recruited and trained in partnership between the MCART and International Conference Volunteers (ICVolunteers) to create, review and post summaries of sessions online using a specially designed online reporting system.
If you have any comments or questions, or would like to learn more about how Conference Reports may apply to your event, please do not hesitate to contact conference-reports@mcart.info.
